I've been lurking around watch forums for a little while and this seemed like the most welcoming community. I developed an interest in vintage watches four or five years ago, and as someone who has a bit of an obsession with creating rather than consuming, this led to a new hobby that I'm sure I share with many others here: fiddling around with and making watches. This, in turn, led me somewhat indirectly into the rep watch world, so here I am! I've benefited a lot from this forum and look forward to helping others out in the future.

I'm more worried that, after finding search results, someone will chew me out for resurrecting a dead thread!

I've put together a few watches, but haven't done much with straps apart from replacing the leather straps on every rep I've purchased with something of higher quality.

Still need to get a little badge made to go on the dials. I've got a couple of others, but I need to resize the photos before I can post them.

My favorite is the Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars, time only with a blue dial. It's a bit of a fantasy, but quite nice and I doubt most people would notice. I've got another with a white dial that has a squared decoration. I also really like my Tudor Black Bay with blue bezel, although I probably should've picked up the A2824 version over the 2813 version.
