Official Newbie - Looking Forward to Learning More (Apologies in Advance)

Hi Folks,

The title says it all -- I've been fascinated with the world of replicas ever since a trip to Koh Samui, Thailand a few years ago.
I can't wait to educate myself more and finally pull the trigger on a Rolex Submariner "Smurf" (I hope I got that slang right -- blue dial/blue cermic bezel?)

Anyway, would love to hear any personal stories / recommendations from anyone who has experience with this particular replica.
Thanks in advance for taking it easy on me. I know I know nothing -- which is at least worth something, right?
