Hi all,

First of all many thanks for this great forum, it has helped me a lot.
I was looking at buying a rep just to check one out, and nearly went for one of the (very convincing) websites that are not legitimate. However, thanks again for this forum, as I am convinced it saved me from being hustled.

I'm from South UK, owner of one 2nd hand gen Omega and now a rep Panerai PAM564 - I'll post a review shortly.

Hey ttp77 - welcome (as if I've been here) there are a surprising amount of scam sites out there. Even if you think you're in the know ... for instance there's this website chinanoobfactory.com which looks great, very professional, but is a total scam. Out of curiousity, which website almost got you?

Hi Mate,
It was one of the replicahause variations, I got suspicious when I noticed the same website was found with various top level domains (.eu, .sl, .com etc). Also noted trustpilot had lots of good reviews, but a good few claiming to be the 'real' ones - and these were not supportive.

Thanks brother - good to know. I guess these things sort of happen when you're involved in a "gray" industry. That's why I think that forums and communities like these are so important to support. They're one of the few bastions/havens of trust.
