    Wink Hello from Madison, WI

    Hey there all,

New to the forum, of course. I’m not necessarily a rep watch geek, but definitely a watch geek in general! My wife bought me a nice Tag Heuer Monza 10 years ago for a wedding gift and that got me hooked. But I’ve actually been an Omega nut for years now. I have a couple genuine Omegas, an orange Seamaster Planet Ocean 2500 and a blue Seamaster Professional 300m. I don’t mind investing a little money in something I know I can keep for a lifetime and even pass on to my kids (at least that’s how I justify it &#128521. However, I’ve always wanted a ceramic-bezel Submariner. I thought about selling all my other watches and buying a genuine one, but they all hold some sentimental value to me so I just can’t do it. I also can’t justify $7k+ for a watch. $3500 was kinda my limit. So here I am. I’ve done a little research and I really want to get myself a Noob Sub V9 3135. Read about the BK mod route, but probably thinking the new standard V9 with the Asian 3135 super-clone will be fine for me. This will be kind of a all-around watch that I’d wear working, swimming, boating, beach, etc. and I’ve read the new V9 is tested to 50m for water resistance. I haven’t really wanted to wear my Omegas in chlorinated water and have the bezels fade so I love the idea of ceramic. I saw this link: Pre Order Submariner 116610 LN Black Ceramic 904L V9 Noob 1:1 Best Edition Black Dial On SA3135 - InTimeWatch and wondering if this is my best route? Can anyone offer some good advice on the best way for me to purchase this Noob V9 Sub? Sorry if this was TMI for my first post!

    Thanks!

I guess the more I look the more I think the ARF is the better watch out of the box. I’m not modding this at all. It’s going from box to wrist. Is Puretime and Intime the same pretty much?
