    Hi All

    Just starting out on this journey and fancying a Sub Rep

    Arf/Noob 9 maybe

    Welcome.

    Depending on what you like to do, the Noob is great if you like to mod the watch a bit more. ARF from what I read is good for "out of the box" rep. Both are pretty good IMHO. Also you need to decide if u want to go the rep 3135 movement route vs an ETA clone 2824 as for the 3135 route you need to get it serviced or get a gen movement. For the ETA clone route you can simply buy a reliable Swiss ETA. Since the case and stem height is different for each movement you need to decide first as you simply can't change your mind afterwards.

    I shall do some reading on the movements also, reliability is key rather than the gen look under the rear cover
