    Hi guys,

Thought I’d introduce myself. Been lurking here the past week after joining RWI and countless hours of research I have recently pulled the trigger on my first two reps! Sub 116613 lb and 116610 ln. Always had gens from Rolex, omega and iwc and never thought I would get into reps, but im at the stage now where dropping 10k on a new watch is a bit mental now considering I’ve already spent a small fortune on gens that nobody has even noticed apart from close friends.

    Welcome to RG.
You are right, the replica's these days a truly amazing, not like the early days, when they would fall apart before you got on the plane. Ironically it is the members of these forums that have more knowledge about differences between reps and gens, than the average owner of the real thing. Whether we can afford the gens or not, is starting to become irrelevant. Why spend tens of thousands on something that is hardly distinguishable from a piece costing a few hundred.
The English never draw a line without blurring it. (W.C.)

Some of the reps are frighteningly good. I think 99% would struggle distinguish the difference between them and gen and unless it was a forum member or real
Watch enthusiast. It also gets boring playing the “there’s a waiting list” game and the way the market is at the moment. I’ve seen ad’s saying there’s a 2-6month wait for Date justs now!
