Newb here...had not so great experience with a recomended dealer, but did get a refund. Looking to start a decent collection any ideas for a first rep. My first order was a GMT Master II 50th anniv swiss eta but it was out of stock, and probably for the better as it had the ichs. Also recently I have been looking at the subs....since everyone seems to get one as a first rep, but like most newbs I wat to make sure its a nice rep. I've read some good things about the BKsub. Any ideas on the wait and cost?

I hear the Super Sea Dweller is nice. Anything by Breguet as a Sunday go to meeting watch.

Good choice on the BKSub, it goes around for about 360 usd with all the modifications... i think, check out BK watch garage for some of his offering. BK's finishing up on orders till his vacation mid July, He told me to pm him on August for my orders. You can try and email him for other question, he usually answers right back if he's available.

Welcome to the forum. The Geek is a very good place to be.

I certainly agree with Posh and Ethan. Also, nearly all the Ferrari models are very good reproductions. Also, the Breitling SuperOcean Heritage and the Steelfish are nice.

My suggestion, read as much as you can and pick your dealer. Then, pick your watch.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I have been talking with BK and am in the process of ordering his BK mariner. Damned paypal takes 4 days to transfer the funds, but they can validate the account in 3 mintues. LOL!!! I also have a question for you veterans......what is the deal with the 7750 movt. Major mixed reviews....most want to avoid, but some say they haven't had any problems. Any insight??
