DHL "Delivery Exception" ?

I just got a notification from DHL saying there is "delivery exception" on my shipment in Saudi Arabia. This shipment is coming from well-known TD i have worked with many times.

Anyone run into this? What is proper response to DHL. Thanks

Have you tried calling DHL? A delivery exception is when a package is temporarily delayed while in transit

Yes, I called but customer service is closed on weekend.

So what happend I just got same message.

It just a normal process. It releases and moves forward usually the next day.

You were correct. Next day it was on its way, scheduled for 28th got here 22nd. Extremly fast.

yes, this last shipment went very fast. Learned something about DHL. If it arrives at final hub on Sunday they will turn over to postal service and then you might be looking at another week to go 100 miles. But if it arrives on monday, DHL will take it.
