Default New to Rep World...Big Trouble Ahead

So I kind of stumbled onto the Rep Watch scene recently. Had no idea how far the rep watch game has come. I think this might get a bit addicting as I am already eyeballing a few reps, mainly a Panerai GMT (088 or531), IWC Big Pilot and a Submariner or SeaDweller. Reading some of the SuperClone threads and ingesting as much info as I can as well as joining a few forums to see which has the most knowledgeable users that will also tolerate some noob questions. I know it can be a pain as I was once a moderator on a Reef Tank site but noobs need help too, especially with some of the terminology/acronyms. Hope to grow out of noob status quickly but bumps along the road will happen. Hope to find a home here.

This was me in 2009. Lol

Welcome to RG!! The prices are higher but the quality of reps are better IMO.

A Reef Tank sounds pretty cool.

Yes from what I remember and looking through some of these TD sites/pics/videos Reps have come a long way. Wallet is hidden but I'm a master at hide and seek.

Yes also fun, addicting and expensive. Had a 125 gallon with a 55 gallon sump and over 1200 watts of lighting. It was a full blown reef with live rock, corals, anemones, clams etc etc. Loved it but moved on.

Welcome aboard. I’m sure members here will help you get a running start when you have any questions. It’s a great time for quality watches, but as someone else mentioned, they are pricier.
