Hey guys what's up?
Hi there, some very old timers probably remember me.
It's been a while.
I still own two reps but I have mostly gens now.
I haven't been into rep game so I don't even know if there are dealers in EU. Back in the day I used to buy all my stuff from Eurotimez (UK).
I have all the gens I ever wanted (and more) but I could buy a few reps again just for the old times' sake and make some pictorials again.
PS: Are there decent reps of the Sea-Dweller 126600? I could buy one in the EU area.
Greetings to all friends! Neil Peart died but RUSH is still the best band ever. Haha.

My favorite reviewer, and fellow RUSH fan!

Thanks man.
Yeah. Those were the days. I don't even know how many reps I had. Haha. Some cool stuff though.

Wow! There's a name I didn't expect to see pop up again. I been stopping in to see what's happening lately but have more reps left than I will ever wear, mostly frankens and some fairly rare ones. Still wearing my modded SSD daily.

Thanks. Cool to be back and say hi to everyone. The rep game was one hell of a fun ride for me back in the day.

Wow. God is it nice to see some names that are familiar pop up. Glad to see you're still right side up my man.
The hobby is at an all time low right now, two main reasons... first being (supposedly.. I don't 100% believe ANYTHING that is said anymore) government going to war on them in china. Half the factories are shut down, way longer than any little hiccup, including the two best- noob & vsf on the run or in prison. No one has any solid info, just random members random speculation and TDs with their usual cryptic and lacking type communication. The second issue is shipping.. you got your watches faster 15 years ago then you would now. It's as if they hire Su Tran to row them over on a wicker fishing canoe, yet it still costs like $35+ for shipping. I don't really buy reps anymore and prefer gens mainly due to the BS and frustrations of dealing with the aforementioned stuff. All of the fun has been stripped from the hobby. And the forum names never stay the same it's just a bunch of transient randoms that pluck the info they need and move on. The reps are so good there's not much to discuss anyway. Noob actually repped the 4130 Chrono movement so we finally had a working Daytona super rep. That was pretty cool albeit like $800 dollars.
The 50th anniversary SD is available try the ARF version, it's absolutely gorgeous, made with 904L now too.

Wow. Thanks for filling me in. And good to see you man.
I've been completely out of the loop. I had no idea of the current events.
But you're right... back in the day we were happy with $100 ****ty reps and had some fun with them.
Then came the WM9, TC and frankenwatches. Nobody wasn't impressed unless you had some super duper franken build and that kind of took the fun out of the hobby. While I understand the expensive frankens (I could use a good 1675/16750 franken myself as the gen prices have gone berzerk) it's not the same anymore when you use so much money.
After the rep game I acquired 3 gen Breitlings, 6 gen Rolexes, 2 gen Omegas and some other stuff and now I just have my gen Submariner 16610 that I wear every day. It's kind of ironic... it was the watch that brought me to reps as 20-something young guy who wanted to save some money and I ended up with using the same watch as gen every day. Haha.
The reason I'd like to have a few reps is just curiosity. And I never warmed up to the new Rolex designs. Only the "red" SD speaks to me and I'd like to "wrist test" it before I buy the gen. If someone has one good rep in EU area, send me a PM. I'll buy it.
And yeah... of course I've heard of the super Daytona. However that watch never did anything to me (as rep or gen). But it's quite an achievement from the rep factories. I just don't understand why they can't make a decent 1675/16750. I went to good old Trusty's site and checked the vintage GMT's out and they were just laughable.
Cheers!!!

I'm still in the game of reading, buying and selling.
I think my collection was fully refreshed many times. The oldest watch I still have is my IWC Top Gun (of course).
