    Default M2M Sale gone "sour"

I recently sold a 3 year old rep, that was fully working at the moment of sale. After it not selling for months, I decide to let it go to a buyer with a 20% discount on the price, which was already low.

Buyer gets in touch with me 10 days after tracking shows it's received, that the movement stopped working. He took it to his "watchmaker" that charged him €35 to fix it, he wants me to pay half.

I told him I can't be liable for a replica movement stopping to work. It also seemed to have been working fine up until after 10 days later, judging from the fact he didn't mention anything. I told him to get a mod involved to mediate because he is not satisfied with me not wanting to pay half the cost for micro-servicing a 3 year old replica movevement that he broke 10 days after receiving it.

He also used Paypal directly to engage with a resolution chat, mentioned the watch sale..

How do I get a mod to step in and mediate between us?

Naah, i think your not to blame, 10 days is way to long after receiving it, and €35 for fixing the problem is no biggi!

What did the watch maker fix for 35 Euros?

Did something come loose in the movement in shipping?

IMO it's totally your call. Goodwill goes a long way in this rep game- but it's up to you if you wish to help out on repair.

Sounds like it arrived functioning and now it's not. That's just the way it goes with cheap Chinese knockoff watches.

Getting PP involved was VERY uncool, however.

In the future you should follow the lead of most other sellers and have a disclaimer on your sales post stating that you are not responsible once it leaves your hands.
QC photos are for the weak..

Right, but where do I find a mod responsible for issues like this?
