Need info please

Going to be honest, I have had trouble posting pics of watches I have and wanted to sell for a couple of years since the site I used began charging, but for the life of me cannot get them to show no matter what other hosting site I use and I am sure I am effing it up on my end. I just got a Rolex Air King from WBK and while I like it, I realize I am rarely if ever going to wear it (has been sized and worn for like an hour in the house). So I figure screw it and would like to donate it to the site so one of the Administrators can post it and use the money on the site. If anyone has any info as to how I go about it I would be happy to ship out to one of the Conus admins.

I can’t help with your main request (the donation watch) as that will have to be placed at admin’s doorstep. As for posting images, I created this thread which may be of use.

You could have another go at posting a sales thread and make a partial/full donation yourself using:-
Contribution Actions>Contribute from the options at the top of the page.

I had the same problem for years that you had on RG for not being able to post pictures. I followed @Grapeshot instructions by using the picture image host web site ImgBB and it is very simple as even a non techy like me can do it.

I must be even less tech savy because I tried all the sites, got a log in but still cannot send pics on my computer to any of them. Oh, well.

Try doing the below:

1. Take a picture of your watch on your cell phone.
2. Send the picture from your cell phone to your computer via email.
3. Save the picture on your computer as a jpg file in your documents drive.
4, Log on to your email where you have created your ImgBB account.
5. Log on to your ImgBB account
6. When in your ImgBB account go to up load pictures.
7. Click on upload pictures and it will ask you where you want to get the picture.
8. Upload picture will ask you which drive you want to load picture from.
9. Go to the drive on your computer where you stored the picture you took with your cell phone.
10. Click on picture you want uploaded to ImgBB.
11. Picture will be loaded to ImgBB
12. Click on "bb" to get format to upload to RG.
13. Copy the link generated by ImgBB which contains the link for the picture of your watch.
14. Go to thread on RG that you want the picture to be part of.
15. Paste the link from ImgBB to the RG thread.
16. Once the link for the picture is copied into the RG thread, hit post.
