Hi,

I'm Will, moved here in Belgium 2 yrs ago. I am totally new in the rep world. I do hope we will get to know more better and hopefully I can contribute some information in some way!!!

never had it A. really that good? i know most beers from there are quite good.

serious beer. there are 8 Trappist monasteries that make beer out of 170+ in total. 7 of them are in Belgium 1 in holland. I've had all of them.

the toughest one to get is the ones from Westvleteren they make 3 types: blonde, no 8 and no12. I've never had the blonde. I had to befriend a beer regional rep to get the no12. Awesome beer. one of the best I've ever had.

They have the lambic beers (most time fruit flavored but sometimes pure....oh they're different) and some SERIOUS white beer.

yes, I like belgian beer. Checkout Chimay blue label. a good lead in to the trappist beers. Not cheap. Forget the Westvleteren...next to impossible to find.

I had some fantastic cherry beer during my last visit to Belgium, I must try to fing an internet seller for that

The downside of Belgium is their customs policy with reps, good luck if you try to import from outside the EU

we had a wonderfull GTG in Brussels, just one big party .
But why anyone wants to move to Belgium?

I am Will but I use my wife name as a username. Thank everyone for warm welcome!!! Yep!!! Beer, waffels and choco love them.... My wife loves cherry beer here (Kriek!!!). If you like white beer and live in US, you can get bluemoon beer from wine store. "The downside of Belgium is their customs policy with reps" === never order and ship here yet but have heard many horrible stories.
