I just stumbled across this site from a link on ReplicaCollector.com. I have been into reps for about a year and a half. I have 14 of them, half are Rollies and some Omega's. My favorite is my Planet Ocean 45mm. I like all the Bond Watches and still am trying to land a great deal on a Casino Royale PO. (of course I don't care for the rubber strap! makes my wrist sweat!) Homeland Security has my home address flagged from the last shipment I recieved there, (tried to collect $87 duty tax, but my postman acted like he didn't see the notice stuck to the package!) I now have them shipped to my father-in-laws address.
My first rep was a YachtMaster with a serti dial.

mkuhl, welcome aboard man. Glad that you have found us after serveral months of collection. Sucks about you being blacklisted. There are some dealers that dont like to ship to TX because of this but you are the first person I hear tht has had issues there. AT least you have alternate means of shipping.

This is the first I've heard of someone's address getting tagged by HS. How did you find out your address was "flagged". That sucks... well at least you have a alternate plan.

Well I guess it's more an assumption based on what others have said to me. I would imagine if they find "imported/counterfiet" goods in a package from China for you. They will be looking at ALL packages coming in from China to you in the future. Then there was the wonderful bright green tape that says DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY all over it, resealing my package that sat in customs for 3 days instead of 3 hours. And lastly the "invoice" from them for duty tax. At least they didn't just take the stuff and send me empty boxes. Customs at Dallas/Fort Worth airport are notorious for that one I hear. Lots of customs employees at that airport walking around with some pretty nice watches!

mk several had had customs seized their packages and then later they are able to successfully get them delivered. I dont think they enter you in to a dbase and scan all your packages. I would try again to get delivered to you but then again if you have a safer alternative then keep on using that.

My first watch came in without a hitch. I guess I should consider myself lucky. Hopefully it's not a common occurrence.
