Is that which is universally accepted in 'european' centric societies acceptable world wide (i.e. africa, brasil, etc?)

And why is it that that which is considered fashionable in those societies NOT considered fashionable in european societies??

Do you mean Brazilian beach wear, African geometric prints, and Tokyo street fashion have fallen out of fashion?
The Western European cultural industry is so remarkably efficient at co-opting global influences that it is virtually invisible at doing so.
