For Sale Section Idea

Well personaly my self i much prefer buying watches from UK members for obvious reasons, So 99% of the time when i click on watches for sale if they are not from UK i click off it

Do you guys think a UK sales section. Conus sales section etc would be a good thing to add?

I believe it was discussed somewhere already...it would be good if in the title of the post there was a UK or EU or CONUS written...that would be enough

i believe something as simple as putting the location of the item in the sales thread heading, then making individual separate threads for each location... I'm sure the mods know what I'm saying.. I think it's a great idea.

the separate section has been discussed elsewhere as an idea... but the primary snag would be, what do you do about an item in EU but the seller will sell INTL... he loses visibility to CONUS.... and vice versa...

EU/CONUS in header would work... but the world is not just EU/CONUS.... so do you add ROW? or more? EU/CONUS/ASIA/PACIFIC ISLANDS/AFRICA/SOUTH AMERICA/ANTARCTICA? ok, maybe not Antarctica, but you get the point hopefully....

I think its a wonderful idea, in fact other countries should do the same thing, there could be a country by country section, theres a real advantage to buying locally. Can we start the ball rolling by publishing a list of UK dealers in this thread. I know of only Narikkas what others can anyone recommend?

The consensus reached was the clear marking on the thread title as to where the item is located.

Frankly, I feel it is unnecessary to rehash it every 3-6 months.

I think it's not a bad idea for those of us up here -- I love the idea of having ExpressPost pop the watch over to me the day after I pay

Then again, if all the Canuck members posted the items they'd be willing to sell in their signatures, then maybe we could do some wheelin' and dealin'

On the Sales form there is a section where you need to enter where your location is. Adding EU on the tittle can also be done but it has to be done by the OP. Look at how hard of a time we have everyone tagging their pictures nonetheless ask them to put the location on the item on the tittle.

In addition u nder the member name flags can indicate where the OP selling is located, that is if users use it.

Oh, and another thing, if you're going to ship abroad, please state who pays for what and who carries the risk. I'll sell to anyone in the world if they cover postage and liability.
