Default Introduce myself, and the first post

    Hi all.
I'm S.K. living in the U.S. I am interested in lots of rep watches (cuz i don't have enough money to buy gen In these days my interest is Panerai. I used to like Bell and Ross though, I think Panerai looks way better than B&R. Anyway....
I have a question. I'm looking for Panerai Logo. I found one at josh's site. I think Panerai Logo is hand-winding, but josh only has automatic. Which one is more gen, either automatic or hand-winding? any idea?

    Welcome to the forum JR.

Panerai Logo models, such as the 5218 (if that is what you are looking at) have manual wind Unitas 6497 mechanisms.

Welcome abaord JR and you are right in your statement on Pams even though I do have some BR's as well.

As far as the Logo pams go I dont recal any auto ones. Pam 005 and the 201a are the two that I can think of the top of my head and those are manual wind. DSN offers the best out of the box 201a and several dealers offer the 005.

Best of luck and let us know if you have any other questions.

    DSN is Davidsen.

A producer of modded 'out of the box' Pams.

He has his own dealer section here.

One thing about dealing with DSN, is that he knows his movements and will tell you whether it is swiss, swiss with asian parts or asian.

If you read some of the info in the reference section here, you will see that the new asian 6497 is well regarded.
