Post Moneybookers ever been a problem for anyone?

I am thinking about setting up a moneybookers account because it's a payment options some dealers prefer (for example .... Ruby charges more for paypal). It's new to me and I just want to have my mind put at ease before I fund the account and begin to use it. I assume it's been around and is a secure method but I feel like my information is already everywhere.

    Feedback or opinions? Thanks

Siomebody very kindly informed MB about my activities...now they're playing hardass.....more so than even PP...my clients can't get their money back.....I can't refund them....I've given them everything they've asked for....still no decision.....so it's Moneygram for me from now on.....cheap ...fast and easy....and NO audit trail for either party....!

I cannot get money brokers to work for me here stateside and I also tried w Dan ... I've read of other members having success though.

like you said currie, it would be a nice option to have since payp has gone south w most dealers.

I'm interested in feedback from others as well.

Thanks for the feedback all. It sounds like Moneygram/WU is the easiest way to avoid hassles and keeps everyone happy (buyers and dealers). I'm going to avoid moneybookers after TTK (thank you) provided his feedback. If your encountering issues it is probably only a matter of time before others face the same headaches.

I know that some people use credit cards to order off some websites but i honestly wouldnt, you never know who is processing the information.

I know guys here who live off credit card details.

Even though dearer Moneygram and Western union are way the safest option.

Seems like a waste not to buy two or three though when paying the price.

I just informed a new customer that i would NOT accept a credit card payment...for one simple reason....if his card ever gets cloned....then I can stand back worry free in the knowledge that I never had his CC details.....I like to look out for my own interest...and my customers...!

Moneygram is CHEAP....an MBW at $350.00 from the US to Thailand is $9.99.......and easy peasy to send ...either online...or at a store near you...they have a great store locator on their website www.moneygram.com whcih shows all outlets in your zip code......all you need do is go to a hole in the wall...draw cash...send it...and it's there in minutes...no muss ...no fuss...!

Best of all....ther's a minimal audit trail......should the day arise when the IRS decide to look at you...and ALL those payments that have been coming off your CC to Paypal etc etc....MG effectively hides you....!

    Paypal...no thanks pal......MG for me.....so easee....!

Thanks for taking the time to explain all that for me. I actually did a location lookup for Moneygram and found just around the corner. I think I'll take your advice and use them going forward.

So many opinions .... Don't ya just get torn? :-) ... I went ahead and set up the account and I'll fund it when I run into a situation where it is a dealers preference. Nothing like keeping the folks who feed our habit happy :-P

Money booker is hard to set up online for US members but possbile but then you are limited to $300.00 monthly. Money Gram is the easiest way to send and you dont pay those high paypal fees but you do have to get out of the comforts of your leather chair. Their online opitons is good but they charge more and you have to call your CC to make sure they allow the transaction to go through.

Wow, thats not bad at all. I was going to order a watch a few weeks ago, around $275 I believe, and checked Western Union to see how much they would charge to send the money. It was a $38 fee!?!

moneybookers will not let you fund your account with a CC if you are in the USA.
