Hi everyone. Just joined the forum after a few years of buying watches, some good, mostly poor, from various sources (including the looky,looky man on the beach some time ago!).

Really pleased to see that there are so many people prepared to spend both the time and effort and helping the less educated (watchwise) people like me with what is to most people a hobby.

Why do i buy replicas? Because they are so damned good looking and i love beautiful things. I would rather have 5 replica paintings in my house from great replica artists because it is the painting that grabs me, not the person that paints it. It's the same with the watches.

My fave watch? Has to be my genuine 1959 solid gold boys rolex..the problem, I can't wear the thing because it breaks! It is also close to my heart because when I got burgled the idiots took my Rep Explorer II and left the real thing sitting besides it! (actually, not completely dumb, he nicked my car as well)

So my fave rep, is my new Navitimer Fighter (although surely its not too difficult to make it shine less?!) But what I really, really, want is the best quality Destro PAM sub I can find in the UK...as I wear my watches on the wrong wrist..So, anyone who can point me in the right direction would have my thanks!

Anyway, sorry for the rambling speech..I am like a kid in a sweet shop looking at all the great watches.
