    Default Email activations/notifications and more...

    Greetings,

    I have been a VIP member for several years. For the last couple of them I recently realized I never received any email notifications when I had pm's, subscriptions, etc...

    The other day I tried to experiment and changed my "system" email address to aother gmail address and immediately I started to get activation email, notifications and more.

    No, I don't have any spam filter situations or anything like that but apparently my personal owned domain does not receive emails from Repgeek. I tried to PM three admin personnel around here but I'm starting to think they never received the pm because I wasn't actually "activated" at the time even though I have been a VIP since 2007.

    Any ideas?

    Most of the e-mail notifications are innactive by default, you'll need to select that you want those notifications in order to receive them. I don't know if there's a particular problem with your own domain name in receiving the e-mail from repgeek but it seems that is not a problem on the software here and more of some sort of filter or configuration on your mail server.
    I've mine active and they work on live and gmail and never had a problem. The fact that you've changed it to a gmail account and received them leads me to beleive the problem lies on your host server mail configuration rather than on RG.

    Its not working for me either...no notification of PMs or replies to threads, posts, subscribed threads....just fyi....can't offer a solution unfortunately, but just to let you know that it may not be just your email server...
