Default Video Section showing watch movements

I posted this on another forum and got virtually nothing:

I am a noob and I see all these different watch movements referenced. I am clueless on the differences. Are there any videos showing the difference in movements , specifically the second hands. I am curious to see the difference in say asian 21j in cheap watches and the higher end watches with swiss movements. The only movement I am famaliar with is the tick of the Quartz and smoothness of a gen rolex.

I think a topic with videos of movements should be made and stickied. It would be very helpful when choosing which movement you want to purchase in your watch. I would think By-Tor, Pugwash, Flavor Flav, etc would have videos to show and educate us. I have spent hundreds of hours on various forums and still do not know the differences in the sweep or tick of the second hands of each movement. Gen and Replica could both be in this section. Someone here has to have many watches with various movements that could post very short videos to help everyone out.
Just my suggestion, I can't be the only person here thats never seen all the various movements.

    Thanks for Reading
    Heith

This is a great idea. We will need people to supply the videos,a nd if they are available, then I am sure that we can provide a section for this.

I am a noob Sylar so I defer the honor to you. I have no idea about watch movements or how to even post a video here.
