    Default Real photos of reps?

    Hi guys.

New to the forum. Thanks for being here

What''s you folk's experience? Seems like the vast majority of rep websites I've visited show nice shiny perfect photos of the watches they sell. All of the watches have the hands at 10 and 2 o'clock with the second hand straight up. Im suspicious (by nature) that the posted photos are of actual genuine brand watches and not of the reps they are actually selling.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this or perhaps have experience with dealers that really do display pics of the watches they sell?

Been pondering this for sometime and any feedback is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Scott

    Welcome Scott.
Nice to have you join the RepGeek team.

Take a look around, youll see most of the watches shown here from the RG Vendors are the actual watches the members receive.

Most scam sites use gen pictures and send you a complete pos watch w no ability to return.

Again, have a look around; it doesn't get any better then right here if your a RepGeek.

    Cheers Welcome Enjoy

Btw yeah 10/10 standard industry positioning = smiling/happy watch face.

According to the folks at Timex (who set their products at 10:09:36 exactly), the standard setting used to be used to 8:20, but this made the face look like it was frowning. To make the products look “happier,” the setting was flipped into a smile (occasionally, you’ll still see the 8:20 setting on some clocks or watches where the manufacturer’s logo is at bottom of the face above the 6).
