Hi all,
Been an member of RG since about 1 year.
I’m glad to be a member, read the articles more times a day, but being an absolute noob, I never had the urge to make postings.
Started buying reps a year ago. In fact, first I didn’t have the intention to buy rep.
The only sort of rep I knew was the one you buy on the beach or at local markets when on vacation for a mere 50 $. Never been interested in that.
I was in search of a new watch and came out on the TAG Heuer Monaco. Fantastic watch, but with a price tag too high for my wallet.
Intrigued by this model I kept searching for information and found a bunch of rep sites which triggered my attention.
Began to realize that there was more than Canal Street quality and that is how my rep story started.
My actual collection :
- Omega Speedmaster; my very first rep; a fantasy watch bought from a non-TD, before I found this fantastic community.
- Breitling Super Avenger from Angus
- PAM 127 from Sead
These last 2 watches are really nice watches, with the SA as my daily beater.
Although I made up my mind never to buy a Rolex rep, because for me this brand is inextricably bound up with rep watches, these last weeks I’m really caught by the beauty of this brand and the diversity of models. So finally I’ve been caught by the Rolex fever and pulled the trigger to order 2 Rolex watches with Andrew; the Submariner 116600LV and the Deep Sea Dweller. Now eagerly waiting the QC pics.
