While attempting to do a trick on my bike after way to many beers, smashed my watch on the concrete really bad (third broken watch on a bike, no bs). Thought a while about what I wanted as a replacement and crossed paths with a few repop outfits. Started reading, found several boards, joined up, logged about 40 hours of reading everything I could get my hands on and just received my new piece yesterday via fedex overnight courtesy of a seemingly hell of a guy, BK. As everyone knows, it's a PAM029 GMT, this one has the sellita movement.

I need some advice on the strap. I think for some occasions the rubber is a little out of place and think I'd like to get another one to swap around. Problem is the tuxedo face and bezel make it look less vintage and the typical straps you see for PAMs are (vintage-ish). I'd like to stay away from a black strap, brown seems to clash, and complicated textures (like most of the lizard family) seem too much for a watch that also had a lot going on visually. I don't want a really loud color either as I would like to be able to wear this with everything.

What does light tan, un-aged with black stitching sound like? I was thinking about going with the old school buckle though (GPF-Mod Dep) to give it a taste of BITD.

Couldn't really find as good of advice on suppliers for straps as I could watches, let me know if you have a referral.

Great site, nice to have a new hobby.
