See whole conversations in posts

I find it frustrating how you have to go to inbox and find the post you're looking for every time you need to recall on something. Is there an option just to see the entire conversation in the latest message? Or at least have a drop down tab to see the last messages. If you could have it like facebook that'll be great of course
