Geeks HELP please ! Shipping question.

Hello everyone,

sorry if this has been brought up before and I just haven't found it on here, but I'm looking to ship a watch that I'm selling ( my first sale ) and today I went to UPS to inquire about costs and was told it was going to cost me $192 Canadian dollars to ship the watch from Toronto to Lithuania. I nearly had a heart attack !!!! This can't be right ?

It it always this expensive ? Who do you all use when shipping out watches ? Would it be this much if the buyer was in the United States ? Im starting to think I am never going to sell any watches, instead just keep adding to the collection !! ( which is fine but I have TOOOO many )

Any help would be great, just looking for the best and cheapest way to go about this for both myself and for the buyer in the future.

That's one of the reasons you will see NA geeks only ship to US and Canada. That, the customs risks and other uncertainties when shipping to Europe and other areas are major deterrents. I don't live in Canada, but when I have shipped beyond Canada and the US, I just use the US Postal service.

Why not send it tracked via Canada Post? It will be cheaper but not a bargain. (a watch to the US about $25.00) I think it will be a fair bit more to central Europe.
