Greetings, all. Got interested in this hobby a year ago when a friend brought back some reps from a business trip to China and they were light years better than the ultra-crappy TAG Tiger Woods golf watch I had ordered from some random dealer's site a few years back that despite being a quartz fell apart -- literally -- within a month. He gave me a pretty nice quartz fantasy rep of a Montblanc flyback chronometer and I was hooked.

I've been on RWI and RWG for the better part of a year now, and just figured out this week that the only way I was going to get my ID activated here was by going VIP. Well, the few hours reading I've done so far here have more than repaid me for the membership, so thank you all.

Current collection includes a Bond 6538 sub, a 16600 seadweller, a Cartier Santos XL ultimate, a Breitling SOH v2 in need of a crown (please see my post in the Wanted section!), 2 IWC FA Joneses in white and black faces, all acquired M2M, and a few gens (G-shock, Hamilton, etc).

Most likely next purchases are a ZF 382 Bronze and the best ultrathin, quartz, no-second-hand dress watch I can find. Recommendations on the latter most appreciated -- I haven't found any accurate enough to pull the trigger yet.

Seriously. Only thing almost as bad as not having a v2 (on a gorgeous brown real shark band) is having one I can't wear!
