What can you do to make your suit "pop"? I'm thinking collar bars, tie pins, vintage cufflinks, exciting pocket squares. What about you guys?

In my opinion it will depend on your style/personality.
I don't like a lot of colours so I tend to wear more navy/charcoal/black. I dress it up a bit by wearing a pocket square or a silk handkerchief with rolled edges in a colour that compliments your suit.
I have a collar bar but I don't wear it often as is still a bit strange in the office (I'm in London people at work might still question etc)
Most of the time is the fit of the suit that counts the most, as accessories will dress it up but if the suit doesn't fit you, you kinda dressing up something that is "not great" to begin with.
Also shoes are very important, as that's probably the most visible accessory, maybe except your tie. I tend to wear shoes with patina finish (Berluti, Tom Ford, Magnanni).

Agreed, although I would wear collar bars until people at the office get used to it. If you don't mind me asking could you vaguely describe the kind of place you work? Is it a bank? I am hoping to move to London over the next year or two. On the note of shoes, I think socks are an interesting way to add to how you look. Suits are getting shorter and more often people will see your socks, sometimes I try to match my socks to my pocket square (but always keep the tie different).

I am a contractor so I don't like to be too "showy" with what I wear but still like to dress well. I worked in various sectors (tech, commercial, government,etc) and depending on the dress code of what others wear. I used to wear my 3 piece Tom Ford in my previous work place. For the current work I am wearing jeans and a shirt sometime with my Common Projects.

I am not a big fan of colour socks, purely as I have stated I don't really like colours and I think is more of a "British/English style" to wear quirky coloured socks - I am a Kiwi :-)

With pocket square I just stick to white. For handkerchiefs I tend to stay with black and white, I have two main silk ones that I use. One is off white with dark navy hand rolled pipping and the other is black with white pipping.

Most of the time I am actually more interested in the fabric finish of a suit and a shirt rather than the colour (again very black/grey, navy, blue and white). For example I have a navy birdseye TF suit and I have a plain Navy TF suit, similar approach with shirts where I have normal white shirt and some checks and weaved shirts.

I suggest you go to styleforum and sartorialist to get inspired for your personal style. Sometime in my opinion I like to be subtly overdressed rather than wearing some accessories to bling up my look - e.g. a waistcoat immediately add some punch to your presentation without being too "showy" in my opinion.

Well, now that's an interesting topic. Almost every time i exit the house i have a suit on me - actually, i have quite a collection of these, some of them being high-end pieces by Brioni and Kiton (you could say Patek of suits), less expensive but just as well-made suits by Zegna (only the better labels, Ermenegildo Zegna, Ermenegildo Zegna Trofeo Silk, etc.), Giorgio Armani (Black Label & Armani Collezioni), Yves Saint Laurent, Dior Homme and that's just to name a few. Hands down my third most expensive hobby, just after (gen) watches and automobiles.

If you know the type of watches i wear you should expect that my suit will be equally blingy So what do i have on me most of the time ... well, i always have a watch, a pair of matching cufflinks (often solid gold, sometimes with gemstones, depends on the watch), a tie clip (also solid gold, got it as a Christmas gift two years ago) i also always wear a pen (matched to the rest of the outfit, as you could expect) in my shirt pocket and, as probably the most controversial element, a mens ring which is also matched to the watch i'm wearing.
As far as the blazer/jacket goes, i either have a pocket cloth or one of my lapel pins, also matched to the watch, as you could guess

I have a few collar pins but don't wear them at all

Self Confidence and the way you carry yourself will make any accessory "2nd choice"...

First, get the suit tailored to fit you. Even a cheaper suit that has been tailored to the wearer is going to look a lot better than an expensive suit that has not. A good pair of well kept shoes and a strong tie are a must. Anything else is personal preference/style/situational. I tend to go classic. An understated belt to match the shoes. I do wear higher end ties, but I don't wear items that scream their brand all over it. I am not selling for them, I am selling myself. Going classic also helps to eliminate things looking dated so quickly.
