    Default Hi Advice please

    Hi
I am new ti REPGEEK but loving the forums already.

However, I do have a question that somebody maybe able to help me with?

I have just taken delivery of a replica Omega Seamaster and although I am quite pleased with the quality I cannot get the watch to start working.

I have worn it for 2 days hoping that the auto wind would kick in and I have also unscrewed the crown/bezel to position on and manually wound up the watch. Still no luck!!

Has anyone had the same problem? If so how did you fix it or have you got any details of anyone who can take a look at it for me?

Looking forward to hopefully hearing from a member shortly.

Maybe send for a service mate.
Some reps have been sitting in a factory for a while and need one.

hold the watch head between thumb and forefinger in your right hand, then move it real quick right-to-left. You should hear the rotor spinning, do that a few times and you may see the second hand start ticking.
If nothing happens then the watch balance/pallet may have dislodge during shipping. Only option then is to find a local watch guy to check.

Where you located? @zocker4711 or @slaughterer may be able to help if you're in europe. CONUS try C&W workshop or Vac. Best try find a local shop to save on the shipping and wait time.

It's quite possible something as simple as a screw has come loose and got itself wedged under the balance, or fourth wheel.
