Some do, but mostly only after a first purchase with bank transfer.
Buyers recommended me to use a prepaid CC, not your normal one, or use "transferwise" as it is much cheaper than bank wire.

I can second TransferWise, if the TD will accept it. It was straight forward, and like Blue2017 says, it's cheaper.

Well if you've been a customer for 6 years and he doesn't accept PP from you, I would worry. Currency accepted does not mean anything in PayPal, anyone can receive in USD/CNY/whatever currency and you'd still get his with the currency conversion rate, plus fees. Now pricing is something that varies from TD to TD, so a shrewd buyer can use that to negotiate a better price.

Of course I should have mentioned the first watch I brought was bank transfer,a long time ago , then paypal with PC thereafter ,,, toro and tim at watchfinder checked me out on rwi and rwg and asked my username etc Timebandit, paypal was excepted immediately.
I've never asked for discount just compared other tds , but out of the blue I received a free watch omega PO around $350 with josh ,
IMHO paypal works best for me never had a problem , and when the dollars weak it's a bonus

Well, as long as the account was used, we really don't pay attention to last post date. He registered way before you. Not to mention Uwe is a well-respected member here (and is a TD on RWG.bz). And he was just here a month ago.

i think over time everyone is going to move to crypto currency. Its better for many reasons- cheaper, less of a record, no chargebacks, no currency conversion costs, etc. - assuming of course you trust the TD.

i suggest everyone get a coinbase account and a coinbase pro acct. You can convert dollars into bitcoins very cheaply using CB pro and pay a TD using CB for no additional fee (or a fee of just a few cents). The TDs pay less so they can pass that savings on and you feel cool bc you are using the new crypto currency! Try it, it's fun
