Hello from Northern CA

Hi, friends,

I am the rare female watch geek. I have a large collection, including a few high end pieces. I have a brand new gen OP 36, and a gen BB58. I love Rolex, but really can’t afford any more gen watches that cost thousands. So, I got the idea of trying well made replicas. I just ordered a 36 mm Explorer Clone from a company that is a member of this forum. I am awaiting QC pics. I own a lot of watches, including some micro brands and homage pieces, but the average I pay, for each watch, is probably $500.00 - $1,000.00. I received one Explorer rep, but the clasp was wrong. It was fashioned after an OP clasp. I emailed the seller, but got no further response, after the initial request for pics, which I sent. So, Now I am trying this other co. Pics looked good, and he compared them to several other factories’ Explorers I wound up going for the one that was all 904L steel. So, we will see how this goes. I am also interested in finding a nice 36 mm DJ, in mint green, on Jubilee with fluted bezel, or maybe blue motif dial. I look forward to learning about Reps, and making new watch buddies.
