Where do "Geekbux" come from? How do you earn/get/buy them? Mine just seem to show up magically and I dont know why.

Not a nooby question. You earn them by poosting, getting referals for new memebers and creating threads. We use them for raffle and have some other ideas I will implemnt this weekend for them too.

Think Vegas baby....

fins, they are accrued by and from posting. The forum is more fun when we have active participation from all, so they serve as an encouragement to post/converse w other members. They can be cashed in/used for raffles, give aways..etc. For example, the free Night Hawk raffle, one needs to 'give' 500 geekbux to enter.

Just a fun gimmick to reward posting and participation.

We'll have more RepGeek Bux only raffles after this one, so the more GeekBux you have better your chance is to win.

Think of them like comp'd casino chips. Free on the house reward points.
