Hi thought I'd introduce myself...My name is Mark and leave in south london..have been interested in watches for about 10 years know and have had a gen sub and a gen ss black daytona...Unfortunatley 3 weeks ago i was burguled and they stole the daytona..gutted but the insurance is paying out so will feel better soon..

So i thought rather than jump straight back into the 7700 daytona i would try a few watches see if i fancied a milgauss for example..also i would like to learn more about the mechanics of watches and the options regarding repairing etc ..changing straps...hands...and getting the right tools required to do so..

So hopefully I am on the road to an interesting new hobby and in the right place with like minded people...

sorry to hear about the burglary. i'm in south london and had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago. they took my rollies too - except mine were all reps... and uninsured, obviously...

check out the stickies in each of the main categories (for rolex, breitling, panerai, etc) for some interesting ideas on alternatives to the daytona.
