Default I feel a new habit coming on! Hello everyone

    Hello everyone,

I've been researching on the internet for the past few months for a new rep.

When I was younger, I dealt with a few different people regarding items that appeal to a certain type of crowd, but since then, I've grown up a bit and I'm interested in sourcing some high quality reps of more prestigious brands.

About myself, I'm a college student and full time web designer operating as a freelancer at the moment. I meet with business owner's on a regular basis and I'm always looking to improve my appearance in order to aid in the securing of a contract.

I've been in the market for a nice timepiece for a while and almost picked up a Citizen after one caught my eye in the mall (http://www.princetonwatches.com/shop/BL8044-59E.asp).

Before spending that chunk of change, I did some research and was bit by the Breitling bug. After visiting an AD in my state and seeing them in person, I was set. The catch is, I can really only afford a rep (not that I'm even sure I'd spend that much on the gen anyways?).

If anyone is interested in helping me in my search, I'm looking for a Graphite Breitling Chronomat Evolution. It seems to be one of the more accurate colors, plus I like how it's wearable with different attires, and it's rarer than other watches while in public.

I would like the SS bracelet, correct datewheel, double AR, and good lume. I want the movement to be as realistic as possible (28800bph?), and the dial to be Graphite/Graphite, not Graphite/Black. The dial also must have the concentric circles etched in. That was one of my favorite features of the gen when I was at the AD.

Essentially, I'm looking the most accurate graphite BCE possible.

By the way, my wrist is 7 1/4" - 7 1/2" in circumference. Can anyone chime in and let me know if the bracelets on the rep BCE's will fit me?

I'm not worried about "fooling" anyone as I don't associate with anybody except on a professional basis, but I'd like to wear something I can appreciate without paying the gen price.

If anyone can point me in the right direction as to which dealer (price isn't so much of an issue at the moment as my research has shown that the cost of BCE's are sub $400 shipped) offers what I'm looking for and how to contact them, it would be greatly appreciated.

After this one, I'm looking into a Tag Carrera (SS w/ Black Dial), something two tone SS/Gold, and something in rose gold/black.

Thanks in advance guys, and I look forward to collecting many new timepieces in the coming months!

whatever your tastes are now....pound to a penny, they will change and you will eventually find "your" brand... Panerai for example is big in this forum, but in my opinion those that love the brand now probably hated it when they arrived here.... and those that have current style reps today are probably about to consider vintage versions tomorrow.

Welcome aboard, you are about to start a journey.....

Very true and that is why the trade section is so active. I've sold watches I loved just a year ago but later wondered why in the workd I bought.

Bce on bracelet would easily fit your wrist with a couple of links to spare
Best version for the graphite would be the v2 with upgraded datewheel
Check out josh/perfect clones he is a dealer here and has an easy to use website

The bce is a good choice ; lume will not be good but the lume on the genuine is nothing to write home about so no big worries
Maybe in a year you can have a modder relume it for you

    Welcome
