When I'm on User Cp I don't get a alert thing that says, "You have a message." I don't have this problem when I'm not on User CP. Is this suppose to happen? Or is something wrong with my User CP.

Nope kiddo- it's working.
That seems to be a common thing amongst all boards using this software for structure. One of the IT guys will be along eventually to explain it in more detail than you or I can handle
