    Smile Nice to meet everyone!

    Hello everyone!

I'm Rene from the Netherlands (23/M) and I'm wanting to buy a Breitling for Bentley or Chopard rep.

Joined this forum because i really want a good rep and not some rubbish from eBay or ioffer.

Anyone can help me with tips where to buy a great rep from an Tourbillon? I saw one at time4direct but don't know if it's an good?

Thanks for the response and nice forum y'all have here!

Welcome Kosmo! The standard answer for newly minted members is to delve into the forum and do some research BEFORE you send your hard earned cash to anyone. Ours is a very vibrant community with lots of great insights and without question the most talented membership. Also there is a list of trusted dealers who are available to assist.

Just to point you in the right direction, see below a few site orientation links filled with basic information. Make liberal use of the 'Search' button...there is a sizable amount of conventional wisdom at your disposal:

And of course there is the SEARCH BUTTON http://repgeek.com/search.php?

    Again welcome and enjoy!

Thanks for the large response, Tony!

I've allready done a lot of research here and I'm still confused about all the dealers. I'm interested in the Chopard and the Breitling watches because of the see through like watch. I really love that!

I've seen a few nice breitlings but there's a lot of price difference! I saw one for 300$ and for 130$. My instinct says the more expensive one is better but after readIng the forum, it doesn't need to be better!

How is the competition between you guys and the RWI forum?

Tourbillons are not usually the best builds unfortunately

A few of our dealers here do carry them, browse their sites and you can always post a question in the brand sub-forum if you can't find the answer with the search function.

As for any inter-fora competition we obviously think we're the best and judging by activity, post counts and dedication of the membership IMO we rock!

Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks though- each has it's strong points but I put down roots here

Welcome to repgeek Rene, I woudl recomend you to read about the brands you're interested in, not sure about chopard but Breitling has an awsome sticky guide by By-Tor that is a must read for any fan. All the best breitling replicas are listed there and if it's not there its really not worthy.
As to tourbillon watches they are mostly very poor quality replicas simply because the factories cannot replicate a proper tourbillon so what they do is simply display the balance weel of the watch witch will give the watch away as a replica instantly.

Have a look around, there's plenty of information available on the most sought after brands here, then drop down to the collectors area of the forum and shop around, all the dealers there are trustworthy and pricewise you'll be hard pressed to find the same quality for better money.

What specifically are you finding confusing about the dealers? Pricing? Reputation? Selection?

Do you mean the see through caseback? Well I can tell you that the Breitling offerings are more expansive than the Chopard models. (at least the better ones). Breitling here has a very loyal following. I suggest you read posts from members like Yodap who have an expertise with the brand and have imparted very valuable insights in various threads.

You could be talking a worlds of difference here, Kosmo...various models with ranges in build quality will all have different price points. Where the forum is useful is determining the best values to be had.

Well, not an collector yet hehe! I actually don't have an watch, not even a real one! I use my mobile for the time, so I'm gonna us the watch mostly for the looks!

Why I'm confused about all the dealers is mostly because of the price difference. When I see the exact same watch with the same spec's (same movement and so on) and there's a price difference of about 100 - 150 $ I don't know which one to choose.

I've read a lot about the breitlings allready and also the reviews, but they never say where they bought them. Because I don't think every dealer buy's their watches from the same factory?

Allready I love this forum because of the warm welcome and the loads of info!

Well, i'ts been a while since I updated here lol!

It's almost a year ago, since my last message, at that time i didn't even own a watch! Now I own 4 watches!

    I have 1 rep and 3 gens.

Chopard GTXL Chrono with A7750 (rep)
    Profuomo for Alfa Romeo watch
    Chotovelli 3600-1 (BIG 58mm watch!!)
Chotovelli (don't know the type) fuel gauge design.

I really like those Chotovelli's they look stunning!

That 58mm watch is too big, so if anyone is interested...lol

I'm really into the watches nowadays and thinking about getting into school again for learning to be a watchmaker. There's a school here in the Netherlands which learns it all. But it's quite expensive, so i'm not sure yet.

I'll try to be more active here...
