"Dagnabit! Back in my day, I remember when people didn't wear newfangled jeans with all that gingerbread on it. And we would have continued if it wasn't for you pesky kids."

Don't forget to shake your cane at us in dismay. :D

bebenn is a man. Clothing is purely utilitarian to men. Even well dressed men. THey dress well cause they get some kind of use out of the look. More women, better job, etc.

I take exception to this post. I never use "newfangled", except when referring to those flying machines without propellers.

Dear Posh,

You could not be more correct regarding your view of Crocs. No self - respecting man should be caught dead in a pair of Crocs. They are the ass - zit of the male wardrobe.

I'd also like to put on notice, all the douce - bags that wear their Bluetooth headsets while not on the phone. It doesn't make you look cool, you look like a douce bag. Take them off. You look like a douce bag.

Oh, and ladies, Uggs are out. They never looked good, but we told you they did to get in your pants. Same goes for oversized gradient shades. Sorry.

Remember, when you dress up to look good, that's fine. But if you're doing it all labels and la mode, you're doing it to compete with other women. Count us out, we think you look stupid, but of course we'll say you look good because ... it's the pants thing again.

Pug, we seem to have the same mind when it comes to this. However I only wear white socks with boating shoes if at the beach or on a deep-sea fishing trip, the ones that make you look like you have no socks on. And I couldn't agree more on the Crocs, they were made to make people look bad.

What's with all the hate about crocs? If you don't like them, don't efing buy any! They are extremely comfortable, and are perfect for sitting aroung the hunting camp after all day in the woods.

Also, if any of you that are *****ing about crocs are sporting an earring, then you have lost your man card and I don't want to hear about it!:)

I think you got it all wrong, for hunting they're ok, gardening or camping... but there are people who use them everyday in the city/town instead of loafers or whatnot, and that's just wrong. :(

As for the earring thing, that's a big no-no for me, it looks gay IMO.

Actually, those Crocs that BBen posted look sort of preppy in an LL Bean sort of way. I live in a cave and never even heard of Crocs... thought they were some type of man-clog.

Talk to da hand, cuz the face ain't listenin' - that, to all you Bluetooth haters. I never even thought for a second that it looks cool; it's just practical if you're on the run.

I think those oversized shades can look super cool on women.

Anyway, glad we all agree on Hawaiian shirts. My own pet peeve. Ack.
