    Hello,

The watch have arrived 2 weeks ago and I don t have any confirmation to this day. I sent them several emails…no answer.

Can you guys tell me what should I do?

Everything is closed down for Chinese New Year including the postal/package carriers. They wont be back for another 1-2 weeks.

Yeah but my package arrived 2 weeks ago. The holiday begins today!
So the question still stands. What should I do?

You shouldn't send it back in the first place. But since you did, you just wait.

This is why you don't send watches back.

Next reply will be "package no here" or some other increasingly broken English reply.

There's US dealers that charge the same and don't pull that crap. But next time, Id definitely suggest contacting a watchmaker to sort out whatever you have wrong.

You're now into CNY so I wouldn't expect anything for a few more weeks.

If you do a search of this forum and RWI the thing that everyone who sent their watches back to China for repair have in common, is the waiting. It has taken some 3 months and others up to 6 months to get them back. And CNY is apt to delay things even more.

Chinese businesses are not Amazon or eBay; they do things on their own time at their own pace. Hence the recommendation given above to have a local respected watchsmith take a look at it. Yes, it may cost you extra but you will save on time.

So just sit back and wait and your watch will eventually be returned. Sending daily emails to China will do no good and only piss off your TD.

    Thanks for the reply. However:

    1. I sent the watch back because I ordered from GF and they sent me OXF witch is a MUCH LOWER quality.
    2. I am not in a hurry, but like I said…they told me they will let me know when the package is there. I only wanted for them to confirm.

PS: their english is quite good.

So is there a way to open a ticket or something like that?
Like I said, I only want them to confirm the delivery.

If you mean by " open a ticket" as per opening a case, there is nowhere to open it, unfortunatelly. Try and sort it out with the TD, when time will come.

Ok. In that case the TD may need to send your watch back to OX Factory and arrange for a refund before they reach out to GF if they have your new watch in stock. Both factories may have already ceased production for CNY so responses at their ends may not have been forthcoming.

TDs don’t usually do step-by-step communication so it is why you would not have heard anything. Why they didn’t notify you when your watch arrived will have to come from them.

Yes, you can reach out to a moderator and request assistance but he will only tell you to wait until CNY is over.

You have my sympathies but keep in mind, you are working with Trusted Dealers who are not interested in stealing your money, so this will all work out. It just takes time.

    Thank you sir!
I am aware it will take time. No problem.
I didn t even expect them to notify me but they said they will…so that s why I found it strange the fact that they didn t confirm.

Will wait for the holiday to past.
    All the best!
