Oh, believe me when I say "I know."
I'm thinking, however, with the amount of advancements the rep community has seen, a fully functional El Primero copy should come out in about 5-10 years, if they can ever figure out the bugs in their own 7750s.

But what I'd REALLY like to see is after Concord fully realizes it's quantum watch concept and revolutionizes the watch industry, the rep world making all our watches quasi-quantum wrist computers (with probability altering complications!). I can only dream.

ANYWAYS...yeah, the only "good" ones out nowadays are the new 28.8k DX Chronographs and the ol' seagull wound-powered chronomaster reps. And even then, they still suck. Which is why I'm all about building up a PHC 3019 and dropping it into the replicated chronograph of choice in which the gen uses a real El Primero...as long as it's not a Rolex. (I'm really not a Rolex kinda guy...)
