    Welcome to RG.

    For solid wearer I'd go for non chrono Swiss or Asian clone powered replicas, these are solid movements and they will last you a lifetime if they are properly cared for. The chrono movements aren't bad either but the simple fact that they have more complications makes them more prone to problems.
