[Lemmy Caution]

The 405 and 101 are my most dreaded roads on Planet Earth. Every time I'm on those roadways it feels like an accident waiting to happen.

We only use the freeways when we're going downtown (eat, museum, Disney Hall) or leaving Los Angeles - usually going North.

I do not use them to commute. There was an article a few years ago that used insurance company statistics indicating that commuting on certain freeways (710, 110, 5, 405 iirc) guarantees one of an accident every 3 years.

Not gonna argue that one but you get my drift.
