I know there is a restriction on length of search term... how do I search for a 3-letter/number term? I need to find info on a certain Pam.
Thanks!

I'd like to know the answer to this as well...It's frustrating to see that 3 letter search (I was looking for 005 Pam) doesn't yield anything....I even 005* and 005** but still, nothing.....

yes the limit should be changed to 2 characters!
Doesn't "panerai 005" work?
I do agree with you, most watches are called by it's acronyms anyway.

Yes, "panerai 005" works... but very few people write "panerai"... most write "pam".... so the threads I would like to see don't really come up in search results.
I'm sure there is a cost associated with changing this, and there are probably other more important things on the list of things-to-do.
Search for "pam005", "pam000", etc
This is a good point OP, searching is tough due to this.
