Tycke, I've been doing just that. Don't have a whole lot to add to the conversation elsewhere though. Mostly just lurking, and figuring this whole rep thing out.
I've been into making basic mods to cheap Seiko's for awhile. I've got a nice pepsi Skx007 with a ploprof band on it that's my daily wearer. Unfortunately in my career field having a watch people think is expensive is almost expected so I decided instead of dropping 5k on a gen I'd look into the rep scene.

As no doubt you have realised, asking such questions will get a lot of flack but there is a lot of invaluable information on here and the biggest prize is for those willing to put in the most leg work.
As for the best, most dealers can find the same watches, so better to choose the dealer before the watch and enjoy the whole buying process, as it it's part of the journey.
