    where are you sending from?
i've had similar experience recently sending to the UK where the tracking go as far as saying it's at delivery office but never updates to being delivered.

Hello guys thanks to you all for sharing your experiences and views.

Buyer (new member) said he learned his lesson from the hard way.
Guys I dont want him (especially a new member) to feel this way, thus I want to do my best but of course, without risking myself.
(Similar things happened to me when I bought a watch from a fellow geek here last year, the package turned up after a month)

Based on the tracking info, (checked both Australia Post and Royal Mail) the item landed UK Langley.
Royal Mail shows that it is in the delivery office near to the member's house, whom I sold it to.

I think I can claim an investigation free of charge.

In here, as I have already mentioned, I am very hesitant since this is a counterfeit product. Do you guys think making a claim would be risky because of that ?
Or should I do this claim here in Australia via Australia Post ?

Please see tracking info from both postal services of Australia and the UK.

So what happened in the end ?
Did it got delivered to you ?
Your tracking got further than mine, I was the seller and sent to UK. I think one in march and one in april, tracking never got further than arrived in UK, but the buyers received the items.

IMO your buyer has received the item, maybe you should try calling royal mail and check. If you use skype or viber etc shouldn't be too expensive, just to give yourself a piece of mind. Bit too convenient for it to just get lost right after getting to the delivery office where they deliver to the buyer...

What service did you send by? EMS or normal registered airmail?

I used to live in the UK, and the online tracking for basic registered mail even within UK is a joke. Yes it's meant to require a signature on delivery but its not electronically tracked (at least not when I was there) one the postman even left a registered mail item just on my doorstep. The online tracking almost never updated to show delivered for basic registered mail.
When i was selling on ebay in UK I started only using the more expensive special delivery service (within uk) which was next day guaranteed and electronically tracked each step, since tracking for recorded mail (what royal mail calls basic mail which needs signature) was such a joke.

I used the tracking number for both Australia Post and for Royal Mail (UK) postal services.

As you can see, Australia Post shows only that the package landed it the UK.
Royal Mail shows that it is in the delivery office.

I mean, if the buyer was not being honest, I think I would see at least the notification that the package is delivered. Didn't I ?

So the question remains, based on past experiences, would it be a safe bet to go after the package with providing all detailed (Sender's name surname, Recipient name surname, my postal address) information to the Royal Mail Postal Services ?

I am calling the royal mail but nobody picks up.
Buyer asks me to go after the package, would he do this if he was lying ? Just asking, I am not sure.

As the sender, you are the one who can make the claim.

We can't say for sure that the package has not been delivered because sometimes it gets delivered and the tracking never gets updated accordingly. On most occasions it is supposed to be updated though.

I would not be too worried about what's in the box. If they start an investigation, the only purpose will be to find the package, not to know what's inside.

I agree with you thus I went ahead and started the process on Royal Mail, let's see
