When we left the ERM (Exchange Rate Mechanism) in 1992 the economy was going to collapse - didn't happen! When we didn't adopt the Euro the world was going to end - didn't happen! Now apparently my house will drop in value enormously, my pound in my pocket is worthless and by the middle of July I'll be a penniless beggar with no job, no prospects and unable to leave England- ain't going to happen! Short term will have an effect, long term; no one really can tell....

If it means a replica watch costs a few quid more for the next few months so be it.

I hear you ... when my wife left she said I would end up homeless, broke, smoking crack and with an STD ... well I showed her wrong, I found a detox program at the local shelter that gives out free penicillin! It's never as bad as you think it's going to be ...
