Welcome! I think I remember a dealer whose name was Paul. He and another chap were possibly the only two guys who sourced MBW watches, if that sounds familiar.

Yes sir! That's him. I mostly bought the cheapo reps at the time other than a couple of subs and an Aqua Terra.

Come to think of it, it was around 2003-2005 time frame. Not 2012 like I was thinking.

2005 sounds possible, but he definitely didn’t sell inexpensive reps. Paul dealt with expensive, high-end reps years ago. AP Royal Oaks, Offshores and vintage Rolex before they were produced by the usual suspects. I probably paid $450 for an MBW Royal Oak circa 2008/9. Very high prices for that time. Probably a different guy.
