This is 100% correct and has been going on since the iced out Breitling days. That's why it was so easy to build a Franken Super Avenger for so many years.

Just thiking out loud, if OP would get a rep 5711 and one of those cases and bracelets. He could potentially have one made like he wants... imagine a yellow gold 5711 with blue dial lol.
