Default From Norway with Curiosity: Newbie Seeks Replica Wisdom!

    Hello everyone!

My name is John, and I come from the cold north, also known as Norway. I'm a complete newbie in this fascinating (and slightly intimidating) world of replica watches. So far, I've managed to avoid owning a replica, but that might be about to change – which is exactly why I'm here!

As a total beginner in the replica watch universe, I've realized that it’s a bit of a circus out there. I’m here to gather some guidance so I don’t end up buying a "Rolex" that turns out to be made of plastic and glitter.

I'm very open to any tips and advice you wise veterans have to offer. You already know where it's safe to shop, how to spot a good replica from a bad one, and most importantly – how to navigate this chaos without getting scammed.

My goal is to learn from the best so that one day I can be just as confident in this hobby as you are. So, if you're a veteran who enjoys mentoring a newcomer, here I am – ready to listen, learn, and avoid the biggest pitfalls.

Thanks in advance, and I’m looking forward to getting to know you all! 😊

BTW. Looking for these watches. Whos got the best ones? :-)

Welcome aboard! I agree with @cali209 on going with one of the trusted dealers on this site. DO NOT GOOGLE looking for the websites of the trusted dealers - they are all scam sites. that being said, the current trusty site listed on this site is old- the current is trustytime88.io.

As a newbie who wants a Daytona- I would also agree that going with CLEAN is the way to go. I would also recommend starting out with the the all stainless steel model- the two tones are very nice but to some the gold tone can seem a bit off.

it takes patience in this game. buy one watch only at first to get your feet wet- it is good you are looking for a commonly bought watch like the stainless Daytona as they can get QC (quality Control photos) to you quickly. It may seem backwards and scary, but you pay before you see the watch you are going to get. If you agree that the watch looks acceptable in the phots it will be shipped- I do not know about Norway shipping times but expect 2-3 weeks after it is shipped out.

good luck and post pics once you receive your watch!!
QC photos are for the weak..

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely check out Trustytime on the forum. I’ve heard good things about Clean Factory as well, so it’s great to hear that you think they’re the best right now. I appreciate the tip!

    Best regards,
    John

Thank you for the warm welcome and the detailed advice! I really appreciate the heads-up about not Googling for trusted dealer sites—definitely something I wouldn’t have known. I’ll stick to the links provided here and will check out trustytime88.io.

I’m glad to hear that CLEAN is highly recommended for the Daytona, and I’ll take your advice to start with the all stainless steel model. It makes sense to keep it simple at first and focus on getting a quality piece. I’ll make sure to be patient throughout the process and will definitely request QC photos before finalizing anything.

Thanks again for all the tips, especially about the payment process and shipping expectations. I’ll be sure to post pics once I receive my watch!

    Best regards,
    John
