When did we get a swear word filter?

I work with profanity filtering on e-mail systems and the default word lists are bizarre to say the least.
Hopefully the admin are able to check through and edit the list so that only the genuinely vulgar and offensive words are filtered.

Also, perhaps there should be a poll to decide whether 'Dave123' should be considered a swear word
