I have been collecting watches on and off over the years and just recently started looking at replicas. So I hope to learn something here and maybe even get something from the sales forum.

I do have a gen Seamaster Prof 300 and also an older Breitling Aerospace Titanium in my collection. The rest are mainly diver watches in the sub $200 price range.

Right now I am just trying to figure out all the abbreviations and nicknames. For example: What does noobmariner mean?

Welcome to RG....noobmariner is in reference to the Rolex Submariner that usually sells for $98 or less at the trusted sites that are listed in the dealer section of this forum....my 1st replica purchase was a "noob" GMT II...

Thank you! So does that mean it's a lower quality watch or just such a common model?

It's decent quality, but...the GMT II that I got had its flaws...The date wheel for instance on one of the numbers when shown in the date window had a spect of dirt on it, the lettering of GMT MASTER II was off center, etc. This is the link to the one I purchased:

I would suggest that you spend more and get one with a better quality movement like a Swiss ETA 2826-2...I would assume that the case, etc will be of a higher quality as well....I know from experience that when I purchased my first Breitling:

I thought this was of decent quality and replication, but I was so wrong when I spent the extra money and got the A7750 Avenger Skyland here:

From my short experience w/ the Replica world, I would say its safe to say you get what you pay for...I would highly recommend that you look into the Avenger Skyland Breitling (link above), it's a really nicely done replica..if thats your style....

Thanks for the explanation. The Breitling looks like a great watch to have, although I am more into Seamaster and Speedies.
